Senior Attorney Earns Top Rating
The independent attorney rating service of Martindale-Hubbell has awarded its top rating to Joseph F. Singleton, who is senior attorney in the local law firm of Singleton, Burroughs & Young. Martindale-Hubbell awarded Singleton its AV rating, which is based on an extensive and confidential peer review.

"The AV rating is a reflection of expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence," says Barbara Dooley, senior rating consultant with Martindale-Hubbell. "It identifies an attorney as a professional with very high to preeminent legal ability.'

The Martindale-Hubbell rating cites Singleton for "the highest professional and ethical standards." A graduate of Presbyterian College and the University of South Carolina School of Law, Singleton specializes in commercial and construction law, civil litigation, corporate law, probate cases and condemnation proceedings . He is a former president of the Horry County Bar Association, is a member of the S.C. Bar Association and has authored articles for the South Carolina Law Review. He and his family live in Myrtle Beach.
